The Fu De Temple is the spiritual center of the Topeng community. Due to the village's name, it has been nicknamed "The Temple of the Land God - the dumbest in Taiwan". Inside the temple, there are no deity statues; only a stone tablet inscribed with "The Righteous God of Prosperity". It can be seen that the temple has existed for a long time. The Chaozhou-style octagonal prism and the "Hua Tai" (transforming and nurturing) design behind the temple, which resembles a chair, reveals the Hakka ancestry of the villagers. Although the temple is small, it is carved out of six large stones, which is a classic example of a Land God temple. The use of stone as the main building material for the temple is a testament to Topeng's other name - "The Stone Village".
