新北市新店區安康路三段306號
Run Ji Temple is a relatively large temple in the An Kun area, also a historic temple with a strong sense of history, and is the center of religious beliefs for the residents of the "An Kun Inner Five Villages" and the Second City area. The temple is dedicated to "San Guan Da Di", also known as "San Jie Gong", and enshrines "Jiu Tian Dao Zu" and "Wang Tian Jun". In the early years, this area was the living domain of the Atayal indigenous people, and the settlers who came to open up the land often faced threats. Therefore, the local leader advocated for the construction of a temple, which was founded in the first year of the Tongzhi Emperor of the Qing dynasty. Initially, it was a thatched hut, and it has been renovated and expanded three times in 1913, 1923, and 1986. Behind the temple is the Run Ji Temple trail, which goes up steeply on a wooden plank road, with no shade but good views. From here, you can see the ridge between Tu Tan Mountain and Huo Keng Mountain, or look down at the Tou Cheng and Second City areas.
