Simp​lit​e Chinese Japanese English Korean Behind Xiaochi Reservoir, there is a beach locally called “Fantasy Beach,” also known as the Dreamland Beach. This beach is only about two hundred meters long. It is a simple place with fine golden sand, a secluded location, and is only visible when the tide recedes; normally the sand lies in the sea, so the sand here is extremely fine. During high tide, the entire beach is submerged and disappears, which is why it is called Fantasy Beach. Inside the fjord, walking down from the Xiaochi Reservoir levee will reveal this paradise; crossing over the pebble field will allow you to enjoy the beach scenery, and if you don’t want a crowded place, this is definitely a good spot! Going down from the back of the reservoir, you can step onto the ultra-fine sand. On both sides of the beach there are stone basins, and next to them a small residential area features magnificent columnar basalt scenery.
