Tianguo Mountain, also known as Neipo Mountain and Huangdi Mountain, is located on the border of Tucheng and Sanxia Districts in New Taipei City. The mountain head is particularly prominent due to the erosion of the valley by the Xindian River and Hengxi Stream, giving it a "high in the sky" appearance, and thus it is also called "Huangdi Mountain". The summit has a third-order triangulation point (No. 1099). Although the elevation of Tianguo Mountain is not high, it is the highest peak in the Tianguo Mountain range, with excellent vision, overlooking Tucheng District, and also distant views of the western half of the Taipei Basin and the more distant Daitu Mountain and Guanyin Mountain. In 2003 and 2006, it was selected as one of the Taiwan's Small Hundred Mountains.
