Hsin-tu Eco-Park is the first park in Taichung to be built with ecological engineering methods. The park covers an area of about 2.5 hectares and combines overall greening and beautification using ecological engineering techniques. It introduces the river water from the Baba圳, treats it for purification, and then discharges it into the downstream ecological ditch. The park also raises carp for monitoring water quality and for viewing purposes. As the sun sets, it becomes a great place for people to take leisurely strolls. In addition to the eco-park, a one-kilometer-long interactive space connects the entire community, utilizing green spaces. A natural landscape performance square has been planned and built. The area is filled with trees and lush greenery, providing a place for nearby residents to engage in recreational activities. The eco-ditch is built with cobblestones and has a green belt pathway, making it a great place for community residents to relax and take leisurely walks. It's also an ideal spot for children to play and for ecological education.
