The New Taipei City Tucheng District Office built the 7-hectare Tonghua Park in 2004 to promote a healthy and ecological trip. Tucheng Tonghua Park is located on the hillside of Tianshang Mountain, the highest peak in Tucheng, which is a valley formed by Nantianmu Mountain and Huoyan Mountain. Along the Shibi Lodge Creek waterfront wooden plank road, it winds its way up. The multi-functional park Tonghua Park has various facilities, including an outdoor performance and viewing area, a charcoal kiln display area, a tea bubble rest platform, a viewing platform overlooking the Tucheng urban area, a triangular suspension bridge for children to play, a three-dimensional climbing net, and a firefly rehabilitation area, making it a multi-functional leisure park. In the romantic May, Tonghua Park has nearly a hundred tung oil trees and mountain cherry blossoms. When the tung flowers are in full bloom at the end of spring and the beginning of summer, walking on the scenic trail to enjoy the beauty of the tung flowers like snow, tourists can be seen everywhere collecting tung flowers and arranging them into hearts, which is very romantic. In recent years, ecological restoration has been successful, and at night, fireflies can be seen dancing, allowing people to forget the noise and indulge in nature's embrace.
