The Yuanyuan Circular National Forest Recreation Area has a total area of 1,573 hectares, with an elevation of about 300 to 1,728 meters, surrounded by mountains such as Yuanyuan Circular Mountain, Xiong Kong Nan Mountain, Bei Cha Tian Mountain, La Ka Mountain, and Dong Yan Mountain. The park has a creek called Zhenzi Creek, with a steep river valley and large elevation differences, forming many waterfall landscapes, earning it the nickname "Waterfall Paradise". In addition to the most spectacular Yuanyuan Circular Waterfall, there is a Silver Curtain Waterfall not far behind it, and the Maiden Waterfall is located on the left tributary of Zhenzi Creek. This waterfall is also known as the "Rainbow Waterfall" because rainbows can often be seen. Near the Yuanyuan Circular Forest Recreation Area, there is a Thousand House Legend Eco-Farm, located at the intersection of La Ka Creek and Zhong Kong Creek. This eco-farm, with a theme of tourist fish farming, allows visitors to not only appreciate the beautiful mountain scenery but also enjoy various delicious fish raised in the clear streams of the upper reaches of the Sanxia River, such as high-nutrition rainbow trout and sturgeon fish dishes that are nourishing and promote metabolism. The Zhongzi Creek Ecological Trail in the park takes about 50 minutes to walk to the Yuanyuan Circular Waterfall. There is also a self-guided forest trail that starts from the Chinese fir forest and leads to the Dong Man Trail entrance and the Yuanyuan Circular Waterfall observation deck, which is wide and gentle, making it suitable for families to go hiking and absorb phytoncides. Yuanyuan Circular is not only rich in vegetation and creek scenery, but every autumn, the forest turns into a sea of maple red, attracting a large number of maple-viewing crowds.
