高雄市前鎮區中山三路
Built in 2003 at the intersection of Zhongshan 3rd Road and Minquan Road in Qianzhen District, Labor Park is the only park in Taiwan dedicated to the theme of labor. The park is shaded by lush trees and filled with fragrant flowers, while its famous weekend flower market serves as the ideal spot for public relaxation, flower appreciation, and planting activities. Labor Park not only features a Labor Recreation Center and Labor University, but also a "Memorial to Industrial Sacrifice" on its plaza, commemorating and mourning the laborers who sacrificed their lives due to occupational injuries during economic development. As the largest industrial city in Taiwan, Kaohsiung, the significance of Labor Park and the "Memorial to Industrial Sacrifice" lies in raising public awareness of labor welfare and safety, drawing lessons from past tragedies to turn pain into vigilance and knowledge, and striving for safe working environments and peaceful labor conditions.
