Located under Huazhong Bridge in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, the Zhonghe Dinosaur Park sits right beneath the bridge at the 3.8 km mark of the Xindian River Bikeway. The entire park is filled with dinosaurs in all kinds of shapes and sizes, arranged into themed zones such as volcano, jungle, open plain, blue sky, and cave. Their lifelike yet playful appearances are a favorite with children, making the park perfect for family outings. Cycling along the Xindian River Bikeway, after passing riverside retaining walls painted with dinosaur-themed murals, visitors are greeted by a large-scale mural under the Huajiang Bridge pier that makes you feel as if you’ve stepped into the scene. Towering stegosaurs, fierce triceratops, and brachiosaurs, plus a Flintstones-style stone car in the foreground, let anyone blend into the picture simply by standing at the right angle. It’s the only riverside dinosaur-themed park in the country located right next to a bicycle path.
