The Taochang Light Railway Co., Ltd. (the predecessor of Taoyuan Bus Co.) constructed its early stations here. Initially powered by manual labor along its tracks, the railway passed through Nan'gan, Shanshiao, and finally terminated at Waisha as its endpoint, facilitating passenger transport. In recent years, the station has been restored, allowing visitors to revisit the elegance and history of bygone times and serving as a local educational site for elementary students.
