雲林縣水林鄉北港溪出海口邊
Wendi is located on the banks of the Beigang River in Shuilin Township. Because this area is close to the estuary of the Beigang River and has a vast riverbed, it is rich in food sources such as fish, shrimp, and shellfish, making it an ideal habitat for waterbirds. Dozens of bird species have been recorded in the Wendi Wetland, including the Black-headed Gull, Caspian Tern, Eurasian Curlew, Dunlin, Grey Heron, and Northern Pintail, making it a prime spot for bird-watching. Relevant authorities are currently planning to designate the area as a bird-watching theme zone and a wetland ecological conservation zone. Wendi is near the mouth of the Beigang River. A bike path is still under construction, and there are painted murals nearby; in the future, visitors will be able to cycle or stroll here and enjoy the most relaxing leisure time.
