Located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, the Kai Cheng Temple (Temple of the Heavenly Lord) was established in 1957. The temple is adjacent to Fushan Temple and is dedicated to the Jade Emperor. The main hall is situated at the highest point between Jiufen and offers a panoramic view of the area, providing a spot for locals to offer sacrifices and worship, as well as take in the scenery. Jiufen has long been a popular tourist destination for both domestic and international visitors, and for photographers, it is also an ideal location to capture stunning images. Standing at the top of Jiufen Old Street, on the platform in front of the Kai Cheng Temple, one can gaze out at the settlement below. The views from this spot are not only breathtaking due to the mountain scenery, but on clear days, one can also see the Deep Sea Fishing Port on the coastal highway, and during sunset, the scenery becomes even more spectacular.
