Located next to Shuitou Pier, it offers a clear view of the ships entering and leaving Shuitou Harbor. The park is shaded with greenery, featuring a memorial inscription written by Chiang Kai-shek and a bronze statue of Mr. Wu Zhihui. Mr. Wu Zhihui, also known as Wu Jingheng, was from Wujin, Jiangsu, and was a renowned Confucian scholar who was deeply respected by the people. He once served as a teacher to Chiang Ching-kuo. On October 30, 1953, Mr. Wu Zhihui passed away in Taipei. Before his death, he requested to be buried at sea in the waters near Kinmen. On December 1 of the same year, Chiang Ching-kuo personally escorted his ashes to Kinmen and had them scattered at sea in Shuitou Bay. A Wu Zhihui Memorial Park was then built here to commemorate this scholar who made great contributions to the country. The Wu Zhihui Park is located next to Shuitou Pier on the outskirts of Shuitou Village. Because the park is located at a higher elevation, the entire view of Shuitou Pier is visible. In addition, it offers a view of Xiaojinmen, the mainland, and the Jinlie Waterway. There is a pavilion in the park, and beside it, a forest of casuarinas and two-needle pines provides shade. In the center of the pavilion is a tablet inscribed by the late President Chiang Kai-shek, titled "Wu Zhihui Memorial Pavilion for Sea Burial." A bronze statue of Mr. Wu Zhihui stands near the seaside of the park, making it a great place for leisure and viewing the sea.
