Shunyi Taiwan Indigenous Museum is the first private museum in the country with indigenous themes. When passing by, it is difficult not to notice its unique architectural style - a solid gray trapezoidal building with colorful stained glass windows, and a stone column engraved with indigenous totems standing in the center, giving off a mysterious atmosphere, as if possessing a magic power that calls and invites people to step forward and enter the fascinating world of Taiwan's indigenous people.
The museum's collection consists of four themes, detailing the distribution areas of various indigenous groups in Taiwan, as well as the introduction of traditional daily life objects such as architecture, crafts, hunting tools, and more. It also features beautiful traditional costumes of each group, and the most important ancestor worship belief of the indigenous people. The museum also regularly holds various related activities and courses, allowing the public to experience the culture of the indigenous people in a more lively and relaxed way, and to understand their life wisdom of respecting ancestors and living in harmony with nature.
