Located on Qingshui Road, the traditional goose-meat shop “A-Cheng Goose” has enjoyed a sterling reputation in Tucheng for more than two decades since its founding in 1990. Founder Fang-Cheng Tsai and his wife opened their first store almost by chance. Starting from scratch, the couple held fast to the belief that they “must succeed,” and that determination laid the groundwork for twenty years of success. Second-generation owner Tsung-Yu Tsai inherited his father’s passion and sense of mission. A member of “Grade 6” (born 1960s), he used his design background to reimagine the interior and menu. Unlike large restaurants, A-Cheng aspires to be Tucheng’s “family dining room,” where out-of-town visitors can “play in Tucheng, eat at A-Cheng.” Recommended dishes: goose meat, spicy goose blood, butterfly-shaped crispy wontons.
