What is Yilu? "Yi" (一), its image resembles a long, thin bamboo charcoal, and it also represents our desire to be the best yakitori restaurant by using the best ingredients. "Lu" (鷺), we chose the white heron, the most representative bird of the countryside in Taiwan. Because what we pursue is as pure and elegant as the white heron, and it also represents our love for the beautiful mountains and rivers of Taiwan. The two characters of "Yilu" can also be interpreted as a homophone for "Yilu" (一路), which in the literal sense not only represents that we are all partners, family, and friends with the same ideals and beliefs. We also hope that guests who come from far away and do not know each other can start to consider Yilu as their own home the moment they step into the restaurant, and gradually become "Yilu" (one path). Most importantly, we hope that every guest who comes to dine in our restaurant can relive the original hospitality and shy enthusiasm that exists between people on this land of Taiwan. Thus, the Yilu brand was born. Yilu's Commitment Yilu has gone through great efforts, traveling all over Taiwan, searching for the finest local materials. We not only use high-quality binchotan charcoal made with the top-level roasting method, free-range chickens raised naturally in Miaoli, hand-crafted original beer from Yilan, and various organic vegetables grown carefully by farmers in Southern Taiwan, but also to let our guests feel the blessings of this land of Taiwan while enjoying the delicious food, and to taste the perseverance and pride of local farmers in Taiwan. Yilu's Vision The soul of the catering industry lies in "temperature." By "temperature," we mean not only the temperature of the food on the table, but also the extent of our care for each guest! "It's been a long time since I've had a home-cooked meal." This is what Yilu hopes for. We hope that every guest who comes to Yilu can relax and enjoy the food and drink good wine freely, and more importantly, feel our passionate dedication and moving spirit! And after leaving, they can all go back with a joyful heart, and find their own happy life.
