The main firefly trails in Guanghua are located at the Fu-Hua Trail in Dingbenzai and the firefly-watching area along the Niushan Industrial Road. The Fu-Hua Trail is approximately 2 kilometers long. The northern section is the renovated ancient trail of the Guanghua old trail, while the southern section is famous for firefly breeding. The trail is lined with mixed forests of Fushan and bamboo groves. Visitors can admire the scenery of the tea plantation and see the remains of papermaking, including stone wheels and paper huts. In the spring and early summer nights, the fireflies fly and twinkle among the grass, making people feel as if they are in a magnificent sea of fireflies. The starry sky and the fireflies create a romantic scene. Visitors can rest at the pavilion in the middle of the trail, listen to the sounds of insects and frogs, and experience the simple atmosphere of the Dingbenzai settlement.
