Mainly offering the boss's wife, Ah Fa's, specialty dishes, such as various hot stir-fries, poached chicken, shrimp salad, braised fish, cold clams, pickled sea snails, braised mustard greens, and mustard green soup. This mustard green soup is made by stewing with chicken broth and bamboo shoots, which not only effectively eliminates the bitterness and astringency of the mustard greens, but also makes the dietary fiber more tender and delicious.
Several iron basins in front of the stall are filled with various dishes, among which there is certainly one containing braised pork, tofu, and egg white. This braised pork is no ordinary dish; the braising sauce only has a faint scent of green onion and garlic, but the pure meat aroma is evident. The rich flavor of the soy sauce fully releases the aroma of the meat, which is the true way to make braised pork. The "Fotiaoqiang" (Buddha Jumps Over the Wall) is priced like a street food, yet its contents are quite rich, using large Chinese cabbage as the base, along with mushrooms, pork ribs, tendons, sea cucumber, abalone slices, flat fish, taro, quail eggs, red dates, chestnuts, and fish skin, making it a popular version of a luxurious dish.
