The Xianrenku Trail has three entrances, located near the 14km mark of County Road 162, and two entrances on Township Road Jia 154. In addition to returning via the original trail, visitors can also take a loop around the nearby roads. The waterfalls, streams, and rock erosion marks are a distinctive feature of the Xianrenku Trail.
Entering from the northernmost entrance at the bridge, visitors can immediately see the pot holes on the massive rocks under the bridge. Following the stairs down, rock walls and rocks all show signs of water erosion. The most famous ones are the "Yuluo Cave" which resembles a conch fossil, and the "Xian Footprint", which led to the legend of immortals descending to this place.
Descending to the trail intersection near the valley, one path crosses the stream and leads to the entrance on Township Road Jia 154, about 0.5 kilometers away; the other path extends south to the starting point of the highway on Jia 154.
Walking into the wooden boardwalk extending south, visitors are immediately surrounded by a large area of cedar forest. In addition to the cedar trees lining the way, there are also many Taiwan-specific shrubs and ferns. This section of the trail appears long, but except for a short uphill section at the northern end, the ups and downs are not significant, making it relatively easy to walk, and it takes about 30 minutes to reach the southern entrance.
This trail is suitable for family outings. If you choose to take Township Road Jia 154 to loop back to the starting point, you can look back at the trail that runs through the forest and observe the changes in the forest and landscape, which is also interesting.
This section of less than 500 meters does not require much time or physical effort, and you can reach the entrance about 0.5 kilometers on Jia 154. From here, follow the stairs down to the original trail intersection.
