The Taoyuan District Indigenous Peoples' Artifacts Museum is located at approximately 94 kilometers on the Southern Cross-Island Highway in Taoyuan District, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. The museum has three floors. The main ethnic groups in Taoyuan District are the Bunun and La'Aruwan tribes, with smaller populations of the Paiwan, Rukai, and Han peoples. In front of the museum is a large outdoor exhibition venue that can host various festivals. The museum primarily preserves local indigenous culture, enriches its collection of artifacts, and showcases the humanistic development history of the Bunun and La'Aruwan tribes through images, artifacts, and other collections. This aims to present their excellent culture and allow the people to understand their tribe's historical context and the trajectory of cultural changes. It is recommended to spend about 1 hour visiting the museum, and visitors can independently explore the various themed exhibition areas to view the ethnic artifacts and cultural images.
