De Xin Hall in Longtan is a traditional Fujian-style building constructed during the Qing Dynasty. It serves as an ancestral worship center for the Chen family to honor their ancestors who migrated to Taiwan. It is now designated as Taoyuan City's official historical site by the Taoyuan City Government. The roof ridge features a swallowtail shape, a style historically reserved for those who had passed the imperial examination, while the walls were constructed using bricks made from a mixture of glutinous rice paste, lime, and earth. Additionally, a prominent large owl-shaped ornamentation stands in front of the hall, becoming one of its distinctive features.
