Liangming Jing Temple (also known as Liangming Temple and the Lover's Temple) is located on a hillside in front of Junjian Rock in Beitou. Surrounded by mountains on all sides, the environment is quiet and peaceful, with an open view. Looking forward, you can see the Guandu Plain. Standing here and gazing into the distance at the Guandu Plain, you instantly feel your heart and mind open up, and your mood becomes relaxed. The architecture here is very unique. The main temple looks like a spire, with a dragon coiled on top, giving a very spiritual atmosphere. The main deity of Liangming Jing Temple is the "Four-Faced Thousand-Handed Guanyin," who blesses for health, marriage, light, and wealth. Because of the display of the wax figures of Niulang and Zhinü, it is also called the "Lover's Temple"! There are very popular wish scrolls inside the temple. Write down what you wish for on paper or wooden plaques, then pay homage to the Four-Faced Thousand-Handed Guanyin, and put the paper into the wish box beside the Guanyin. Afterwards, go to the wish pool, which has six bowls next to it, each representing different wishes such as love, health, and wealth. If you wish for something, bring some copper coins and toss them into the bowls, then hang the wooden plaque on the nearby wish pavilion as a witness. It is said to be very effective, and if you pray, you will be protected! On the wish pavilion in the temple square, it is written "True feelings are unseen by people, but false feelings are known to heaven," which is to remind all lovers in the world to cherish their emotions and not to be insincere. It hopes that all lovers in the world can become a happy couple.
