New Fancang Portuguese Restaurant has been serving traditional Macanese Portuguese cuisine since 1998 on the upper part of Macao's new Ma Road, satisfying the local gastronomes in Macao. The New Fancang brand has also proudly been listed in the official Macao tourism books as a must-try destination for Macanese Portuguese cuisine.
In 2014, Vela Latina New Fancang opened in Taipei, the city known as the "Capital of Cuisine," becoming the first Macanese Portuguese cuisine restaurant to establish itself in Taiwan.
Vela Latina upholds its original concept of "preserving and passing on the authentic Macanese Portuguese cuisine and promoting it further." Visually, the bright green exterior and the nautical-style decoration of the medieval ship bring people to feel as if they are instantly on the streets of Macao. The authentic deliciousness has also earned it immediate certification as a "Delicious Member Restaurant" from the French Culinary Association.
