To provide more parking spaces for citizens, the Parking Management Office built a new underground parking lot in World Trade Park, Nangang District, and completed a simple green beautification project in 2011. The park covers an area of approximately 1.2 hectares and is located at 106, Lane 2, East Trade Road, Nangang District. The east side of the park is adjacent to the Nangang Exhibition Hall, the west side is next to the Nangang Software Park (Phases 1 and 2), the south side is near the Nangang Software Park (Phase 3), and the north side is opposite the China Trust Corporate Headquarters Building.
To provide a better recreational space, China Trust Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. , in the spirit of serving society, invested funds in 2013 to donate and adopt the renovation of the park. The original simple green beautification lawn was transformed into a park with trees blooming and seasonal colors. In spring, summer, and autumn, the park is decorated with dreamy flowers in youthful pink, summer gold, and autumnal red, telling the story of the changing seasons.
The park features a diverse landscape design, with a specially installed misting system that creates a humid and shaded environment, ideal for the growth of various ferns, forming a fern valley garden. A clear pond is planted with aquatic plants such as weeping willow and Water Jasmine; a elevated walkway is built to provide visitors with a chance to observe the forest environment. The dry fountain square is a favorite spot for children. At night, high and low landscape lights are installed, making the park even more beautiful.
The park is home to many species of trees, including camphor, melia, fishbone, maple, tung oil tree, Chinese parasol, and cherry blossom trees. These trees release a large amount of negative ions, making visitors feel like they are taking a forest bath, providing a chance to "forest breathe". In the midst of a busy and compact life, whether you are a nearby office worker or a visitor, you can enjoy visual and auditory spiritual relaxation, making it a worthwhile visit.
