"Park No. 402" is located at the intersection of Wanhua Avenue and Xiyuan Road, covering an area of 4,693 square meters, and is slightly triangular in shape. The original site of this park was occupied by the Renjie Sanatorium, residential buildings, and other structures. The surrounding environment was in poor condition, not only resulting in poor living quality, but also affecting the urban landscape. Therefore, the city government initiated the Wanhua urban renewal project to establish the park. In addition to preserving the existing well-growing trees and plants, the park was improved through simple greening methods to enhance the surrounding environment and provide lawns and green spaces for public use. The park held its opening ceremony on November 13, 2006.   There is a fragrance and herb garden on the side of the park facing Xiyuan Road. Along the road around Wanhua Avenue and between the historical buildings, there are seats and an activity square of approximately 256 square meters. Between the square and the building corridor, there are planted shrubs such as blue butterflies and osmanthus. There is also a wide open lawn area, as well as tall trees such as banyan trees, areca palms,朴 trees, camphor trees, and bamboo palms. The shade provided by the tall trees in the park has become the best place for nearby residents to relax, chat, and maintain emotional connections.
