Kinmen Airport is located at the southern central part of Kinmen, approximately 6 kilometers from two major cities, Jincheng and Shanwei. Due to its location in Shangyi Village, Kinhuang Town, it is also known as "Shangyi Airport." Currently, Kinmen Airport has two airlines, UNI Air and TransAsia, operating flights to Taipei, Taichung, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Makung, serving six routes. With approximately 90 takeoffs and landings daily, the airport's recent average annual passenger volume has exceeded 2.3 million travelers, making significant contributions to the transportation and tourism development of the Kinmen area. Moreover, the Kinmen Airport serves as a crucial hub for the mini-three links connecting Xiaomen and Quanzhou. Airlines offer mini-three links combo tickets, and provide bidirectional shuttle services along with luggage transportation from the airport to Shuitou Port.
