The Wushi Harbor Tourist Center was completed in early 1992. The internal hardware and software facilities have been continuously improved, and it was officially put into use in March 1993, providing tourists with services such as whale watching and island visiting. The first floor is the service area for tourists to board the island and take the boat, and the second floor is an introduction to the cultural and humanistic images of Gushan Island and a multimedia screening room (the screening room adopts a reservation registration service system). There is also a coffee shop operated by a third party within the center.

Wushi Harbor is a natural landscape with unique advantages in the Lanyang Plain. The "Gushan Sunrise" and "whale watching and island visiting" activities at sea have great potential. "Tourism industry" has always been the top priority of this county. The beautiful architecture of this center, the landscaping, and the renovation of the sea-view pavilion have made Wushi Harbor become the most distinctive recreational area in the county, thus promoting the development of related industries.
