Niu Baba Beef Noodle was established in May 1990. The founder, Wang Congyuan, was a Chinese immigrant in Canada, engaged in the construction industry. Because of his love and aspirations for beef noodle soup, he decided to return to Taipei at the age of 40 and switch careers to sell beef noodle soup, determined to make the most delicious beef noodle soup. During the twenty years since its opening, Niu Baba Beef Noodle started with low profit and high volume sales. With product innovation and higher quality requirements, it gradually shifted to a refined approach. The relatively high price and refined methods once sparked several discussions, and also brought a new trend to the beef noodle soup in Taiwan.
In September 2012, Niu Baba Beef Noodle moved to No. 149, Section 6, Minquan East Road, Neihu, and repositioned its beef noodle soup, aiming to be the best bowl of beef noodle soup in the world.
