南投縣埔里鎮和平東路
Located at the foot of Mt. Hujitou, Puli Township, adjacent to Puli-Mu fog Road and Puli Industrial Senior High School. The late President Chiang Ching-kuo inscribed the four characters "Shan Qing Shui Xiu" on it. The monument has an elegant and majestic appearance. It is flanked by two white curved walls, embracing a 3-meter-high reddish-brown screen-shaped monument. A stainless steel pole rises vertically from the top of the monument, supporting two intersecting circles. The entire structure resembles a half-opened lily, making it a popular tourist attraction with geographical significance. From the steps, looking up at the monument, the lush green hills provide a beautiful contrast to the unique design. The monument is quite spectacular. Following the stone steps behind the monument, there are over 400 steps leading to the summit of Mt. Huzitou, which serves as the astronomical observation point and the geographical center of Taiwan. Built by the Forestry Bureau and the Nature Conservation Agency, it is also the largest triangulation point on the island. At the summit, there are ancient Chinese parasol trees, densely forested, strangely beautiful and spectacular. Visitors can observe sunrises and sunsets, and view the scenery of Puli Basin.
