Do you know the wonders of astronomy?

Taipei Municipal Astronomy Science Education Center. The dome-shaped building is the planetarium, 35 meters in diameter, with a golden cladding surface, an iconic landmark. Inside is the largest cosmic theater in Southeast Asia, which can accommodate 325 people. It features an IMAX system for full-dome film showings, a German Zeiss star projection simulation system, a 180-degree hemispherical screen, and chairs tilted at 25~30 degrees. While watching the film, visitors feel immersed as if they are in the actual scene, gazing at the starry night, lifting their spirits.

On the first floor of the exhibition hall: Ancient Astronomy Zone, Earth Zone, Space Technology Zone; Second floor: Celestial Sphere and Constellation Zone, Solar System Zone, Telescope and Observatory Zone; Third floor: Star Zone, Galaxy Zone, Universe Theory Zone. A PDA wireless tour guide service is also provided to facilitate the public's learning. On the top floor, there is the first observation room, second observation room, and a radio telescope. The second observation room is open during regular daytime hours and on Saturday evenings from 7 to 9 PM, as well as during special occasions like solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, Qixi Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, or other unique astronomical events. Telescopes are available for public use during these times. Welcome to the Space Journey!
