Cherry Blossom Lake Trail

2017-07-04
In 2014, the Taipei City Soil and Water Conservation Bureau cooperated with farmers in the Bai Shan Li's Baishi Lake area, creating an cherry blossom lake path near No. 49, Bishan Road, which is just a 15-minute drive from the Neihu MRT station. This path not only effectively improved the landscape along the Baihu Industrial Road, but also transformed a previously wild and overgrown hillside pond into a beautiful and fresh secret place through the careful planning and management of the Soil and Water Conservation Bureau.   From here, you can see Longchuan Rock, Luyu Mountain, Bailsi Mountain, Da Hu Park, and the Neihu urban area, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In addition, the community has planted healthy and organic vegetables and fruits. Whether you want to pick fruits and enjoy the spring or do ecological tourism, you can temporarily escape from the noise and busyness of the city and enjoy a peaceful half-day.   Local farmers have planted a large area of "Yoshino cherry blossoms," which are expected to bloom during the Spring Festival this year. At that time, it will be an unmissable view of Baishi Lake, providing citizens with another choice for outdoor activities.   The path through the cherry blossom forest is paved with wood chips, which is environmentally friendly, allowing water to pass through and reducing environmental impact. In addition, when going up and down the steps, it can also reduce discomfort to the knees, allowing visitors to better integrate into nature. In addition, the S-shaped cherry blossom viewing platform is built with elevated wooden walkways. At each turning platform, the beautiful view seen from different angles will surely impress you. The lake path beside the cherry blossom forest is also paved with wood chips. Unlike the admiration for the cherry blossom forest, coming to this quiet lake, accompanied by the gentle breeze, will instantly relieve the fatigue you have accumulated in the city. This new attraction is indeed a must-visit secret place.
