The cherry blossom viewing spots in northern Taiwan usually start with the cherry blossoms along Pingjing Street in Yangming Mountain. Between January and February each year, you can turn left onto the third section of Zishan Road in Shilin District to enter Yangming Mountain. Along the way, you can enjoy the blooming mountain cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms are located within the quiet alleys of Yangming Mountain. Within the Pingdeng area, there are many leisure and tourism farms, offering coffee and tea, where you can view agricultural products, eat home-style meals, and it is a great place for leisure.   The types of cherry blossoms in Yangming Mountain include: Hikariyozakura (mountain cherry blossom), double-flowered Hikariyozakura (Yaezakura), Yoshino cherry blossom, Showa cherry blossom, and Oshima cherry blossom, among others.
