Wanfang Clothing Business District
Coming to Wanhua, behind Longshan Market, the famous Dalijie Wanhua clothing district in the whole country is a must-visit street for ready-made clothes. This is also the base for wholesale buyers from all over the country to purchase various kinds of clothing.
The reason for the Wanhua clothing district is that Wanhua was developed early on, and the Wanhua Train Station is located here, making transportation and trade convenient, thus forming a large ready-made clothes market. In the past, there were nearly 2,000 clothing stores here, and they had an integrated operation from design, pattern making, production, to marketing. The quality and price were highly competitive. Later, with the changes of the times, the clothing district now only has about 400 stores. The types of clothing are more focused on mature women's wear, accounting for about 80% of all stores. Another 10% is children's wear, and there are also custom-made group uniforms. As for men's wear, it has become increasingly rare, even merged with group uniforms. This is clearly different from Wufenpu, which focuses on young women and a lively style.
