Following "Gongyuan Optometrist", the Sunrise Group, known for making desserts, has once again created a new landmark in Taichung's old architecture - the Fourth Credit Union. This building was completed in 1966, and the newly renovated Fourth Credit Union retains its original name. The overall structure intentionally preserves its old reinforced concrete appearance, exposing the building's structure and beams, creating a beautiful contrast between old and new. The interior design adopts a retro style, with old photographs of cooperative employees on the walls, a grindstone floor in the corridor, tiles under the counter on the second floor, and a vault-style entrance, recreating the atmosphere of the cooperative at that time. The corridor of the Fourth Credit Union sells Fengren ice and various fruit shaved ice. Using an old-fashioned hand-cranked ice shaver, the ice is designed into fruit ice bricks, decorated with jelly and isomalt, making it not only delicious but also visually appealing. The first floor sells a variety of flavored ice cream, with each flavor named after classic old songs, which is quite unique. The dining area's space design features golden lamps suspended from the unadorned ceiling, creating a dim yet cleverly incongruous atmosphere. The second floor sells a variety of cold drinks, braised dishes, snacks, and more.
