Originally named "Lin Liu Xin Memorial Puppet Museum," the museum was officially renamed "Taiyuan Asian Puppet Museum" starting January 1, 2015. The museum has a rich collection, including not only Taiwanese puppetry but also puppets from different countries and with different styles. It has collected more than 5,000 precious puppetry pieces. The puppet museum has four floors and approximately 200 tsubo of usable space, including a carving workshop, DIY classroom, special exhibition room for puppetry, premium collection space, and a Natto Theater (performance hall) suitable for various professional performances. In addition to regularly organizing various puppetry exhibitions, the museum also offers courses such as traditional opera puppet carving, master puppetry demonstration performances, family puppet theater, and traditional puppetry techniques promotion, allowing the public to further understand puppetry culture.
