Located next to Lin Sen Road in Taipei City, the entire area of low buildings was once full of traffic and crowded with people. Do you still remember this scene? Among them, there was a small-looking restaurant that was always full of guests during meal times, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. It was called "Liu's Shandong Dumpling King." It was founded by the founder, Grandpa Liu, to miss the taste of his hometown, and he and his family worked together to build it. It symbolizes the significance of northern Shandong noodles taking root in Taiwan. After the second generation, Liu's father took over, and after more than 40 years of effort and culinary improvement, he fully demonstrated the spirit of a noodle artisan. In 2018, he was honored with the Top Ten Famous Chefs across the Taiwan Strait and the Top Ten Outstanding Artisan Achievements Award! Red braised beef noodles, clear braised beef noodles, soup dumplings, fresh fish dumplings, Shandong roasted chicken, hometown braised dishes, all are must-order items. Due to the demolition of the low buildings, it opened under a new brand called "Mian Xian Dao" (Fresh Noodles). The name was directly, interestingly, and memorably chosen. From winning the third place in the 2014 Taipei International Beef Noodles Chef Battle to being selected as one of the must-eat old shops in Taiwan in 2017, and then being honored as one of the Top Ten Famous Stores and Famous Dishes across the Taiwan Strait in 2018, as well as the TV champion beef noodles, and representing Taiwan's food at the 2018 Hong Kong and Taiwan Braised Pork Rice Festival, Mian Xian Dao has swept across Asia and Europe. Many domestic TV stations have come to interview it, all because of the authentic taste of the village's traditional cooking skills. In the future, "Mian Xian Dao" will move towards wholesale channels, online e-commerce, and franchise stores, hoping more people can taste the authentic happiness of the village's traditional flavors. Currently, the third generation's male head chef, Liu Shuhong, who is also a film and television star, is also moving forward with "Mian Xian Dao," spreading it worldwide!
