Batuzi Beach Park

2024-04-11
Badizi is a small peninsula located in the northeastern part of the city, facing the Heping Island opposite. According to legend, it was originally inhabited by the Pingpu people. Later, when the Han people moved in, it gradually became a fishing village. In the past, when the fishing boats reflected the setting sun and returned at dusk, the scenery was beautiful, and it was known as one of the eight scenic spots of Keelung, "Badizi Sunset."

There is currently a seashore park here, with well-developed trails, pavilions, and viewing platforms, offering views of the sea and the Keelung Island. You can also descend the steps, with green grass on both sides, butterflies flying and birds dancing, which is called "Wangyou Valley" by people. The coastline has many coastal erosion landforms, with various strange rocks and cliffs that evoke endless imagination. However, when playing along the coastline, be careful of the danger of falling rocks. During spring and autumn, you can watch the scene of migratory birds and their colorful feathers here.
