Receiving one star rating, MUME located on Sihui Road has been open for three years. Chef Lin Quan (Richie) is dedicated to exploring Taiwanese ingredients, with 90% of the ingredients used in the dishes coming from Taiwan. The restaurant also extensively uses flowers in its dishes, making it a new style of European cuisine. Although there is a fixed menu, due to different daily deliveries, even if the dish name is the same, the ingredients may have slight variations. For example, the famous MUME Salad uses 30 kinds of seasonal Taiwanese salads, and the ingredients on the plate change frequently. The fresh fish of the day is made using the fish species purchased that day, so each day is slightly different. The dishes are available a la carte, with prices ranging from 150 to 1380 yuan, which is not expensive. The presentation is close to the Nordic style, elegant and not pretentious. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is very relaxed and comfortable. In addition to earning a Michelin one star, MUME has also been honored twice as one of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, which is known as the "Oscars" of the restaurant world. Last year, it ranked 43rd, and this year, it has made a significant leap to 18th place, and is also the restaurant that has climbed the most positions on the list this year.
