台北市大安区信義區信義路四段25號2樓
Located on Xinyi Road, the nostalgic old flavor of Rongrong Garden makes it the best choice for enjoying Jiangnan cuisine. Originally called Minghe Garden, the chef has more than 50 years of professional cooking experience, inheriting the authentic techniques, with solid skills and a rigorous attitude. Focusing on the cooking techniques and procedures of Jiangsu and Shanghai cuisine, Rongrong Garden has gained a great reputation. For example, "Roast ribs" are made with fresh pork ribs, simmered for 6 hours in a braised sauce, making the meat tender and full of flavor, with the ribs melting in your mouth and a fragrant aroma. The "Lion's Head" is handmade, using hand-chopped pork belly, deep-fried and braised, with a smooth and delicate texture, and a dense, well-packed filling that doesn't easily fall apart. The renowned chef, Huang Chenglang, is a master chef of Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, and his skills in cooking fish and meat have been honed over decades. He recalls learning cooking from his master when he was young, and it took over 10 years of apprenticeship to develop his current excellent skills. Dishes such as "Roast Ribs", "Braised Fish Chin", and "Mountain Chicken" are all classic dishes that customers specifically request. Dishes like "Braised Fish with Tofu", "Fish Head in Pot", "Yellow Croaker Noodles", and "Stir-fried Duck Paste" are nourishing and simple. Dishes like "Sichuan-Yangzhou Lion's Head", "Eight Treasure Chili Sauce", "Dongpo Pork", and "Braised Pig's Feet" have retained the traditional flavors of old Zhenning while reducing oil and sugar. Regular customers keep coming back, and the dishes have been enjoyed by generations. When groups gather for meals here, if you want to have a drink, the small dishes such as "Sautéed Shrimps" are cooked with less oil, sugar, and monosodium glutamate, making them very refreshing. Other dishes such as "Dried Tofu and Shredded Pork", "Bamboo Shoots and Mung Bean Sprouts Combination", and "Sautéed Chicken in Oil" are all great side dishes for drinking. The interior of Rongrong Garden is bright and has a modern, stylish feel, combined with Chinese paintings such as "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" and landscape paintings of courtyards, which skillfully blend traditional and modern aesthetics, allowing customers to enjoy a comfortable dining atmosphere.
