Shuangxi Park is located at the mouth of Shuangxi in the Shilin District of Taipei City, situated at the intersection of Zhi Shan Road and Fu Lin Road. The planned area is 6.8 hectares, and 2 hectares were completed in 1974 by the Yangming Mountain Administration. It was designed and supervised by renowned landscape architect Hu Guoli. The park has a flat terrain in the shape of a triangle, and its garden design follows the layout of traditional Chinese gardens.
Located in the triangular area where Zhi Shan Road and Fu Lin Road intersect, the park was developed in 1974 (the 63rd year of the Republic of China) with an area of about 2 hectares. "Shuangxi" literally means "two streams," referring to the two streams that converge here. The park is full of the beauty of the Jiangnan landscape, with ancient and charming scenery, a profusion of flowers, and a breathtaking view. It is also a popular location for newlyweds to take wedding photos.
